On May 14th from 1-5pm, Lewisburg Neighborhoods will be shutting down River Road (between the Community Garden and Riverwoods) to cars and opening up the road to everyone not in a vehicle. Come walk, ride, and stroll along the beautiful Susquehanna River.
Some of the cool things happening at River Road Holiday this year:
-The Audubon Society will be bring their binoculars and spotting scopes for bird watching. -Link Cyclery will be offering free bike safety checks. -Tanner Bingaman will be playing banjo music -Lee Sbou Kung Fu will be hosting a Tai Chi demonstration from 2-3pm -Bouche et Bouche will present "Le Bonnet d'Âne Chou." This is an all ages puppet show at 3:30. Open rehearsal is from 1-3pm -- the public is welcome to come and participate, no previous skills or training is required. Feel free to bring noisemakers, instruments, and costumes.
